Subquantum Information and Computation
نویسنده
چکیده
It is argued that immense physical resources – for nonlocal communication, espionage, and exponentially-fast computation – are hidden from us by quantum noise, and that this noise is not fundamental but merely a property of an equilibrium state in which the universe happens to be at the present time. It is suggested that ‘non-quantum’ or nonequilibrium matter might exist today in the form of relic particles from the early universe. We describe how such matter could be detected and put to practical use. Nonequilibrium matter could be used to send instantaneous signals, to violate the uncertainty principle, to distinguish non-orthogonal quantum states without disturbing them, to eavesdrop on quantum key distribution, and to outpace quantum computation (solving NP -complete problems in polynomial time).

متن کاملSignal-Locality and Subquantum Information in Deterministic Hidden-Variables Theories
It is proven that any deterministic hidden-variables theory, that reproduces quantum theory for a ‘quantum equilibrium’ distribution of hidden variables, must predict the existence of instantaneous signals at the statistical level for hypothetical ‘nonequilibrium ensembles’. This ‘signal-locality theorem’ generalises yet another feature of the pilot-wave theory of de Broglie and Bohm, for which...
متن کاملThe Cosmic Ether: Introduction to Subquantum Kinetics
A general overview of the physics and cosmology of subquantum kinetics is presented, together with its more recently developed explanation for quantum entanglement. Subquantum kinetics is shown to be able to account for the superluminal control of the parallel-antiparallel orientation of particle spin mediated through electric potential soliton beam links established between remotely positioned...
متن کاملSubquantum Detection Theory -sdt
We show that the cornerstone of QM – Born's rule – can be obtained from detection theory (SDT) for subquantum (classical) random field. The basic assumption of SDT is that the probability of detection of a field (=signal) is proportional to the power of this field (its L 2-norm). Our approach has some similarities with the semi-classical approach to the electromagnetic field. However, formalism...
متن کاملAn Introduction to Differential Computation Analysis (DCA) on the withe-box cryptography algorithms
Advances in information and communication technologies lead to use of some new devices such as smart phones. The new devices provide more advantages for the adversaries hence with respect to them, one can define with-box cryptography. In this new model of cryptography, designers try to hide the key using as a kind of implementation. The Differential Computation Analysis (DCA) is a side channel ...
